‘’I studied with Carmen during college…we were a group of 15 adults of different nationalities: Polish, Romanian, Russian, Indian, Saudi Arabia but none of us decided to show up due to previous negative experience with native English teacher. We decided it is a waste of time to show up and not learn any English. Carmen came in one winter and after the second class all of us showed up. She managed to stir interest, passion and motivation in each and everyone of us. She has a great sense of humour, very understanding, engages with everyone and pays great attention to details. We enjoyed the lessons so much that we did not want to go home after 2hrs session! All I can say is that Carmen manages to understand different cultures and will accommodate everyone according to their needs.’’

‘’Carmen is a different type of teacher that combines culture and language in a very interesting and enjoying way. I did a course with her and studied different cultures. I was pleasantly surprised she has such a great positive attitude and enthusiasm towards all cultures and she even did an entire lesson on different cuisines and cooked different sorts of meals which…OMG….i definitely enjoyed it! Carmen is insightful and she will do everything to motivate and achieve your goals, I would always recommend her as a teacher/tutor!’’

‘’Teacher Carmen is a highly-trained and skilfull educational teacher. She is kind, very organised and will push your limits in order to believe in yourself. I was a shy student and did not want to speak English because I felt everyone will laugh at me..she designed great 1 to 1 lessons for me and through different strategies and visuals (I am a visual learner) she helped me speak a pretty good level of English in a short time. There is no stupid question or any forbidden subject with Carmen. Thank you teacher for pushing my limits!’’

‘’Carmen’s English classes are very enjoyable not only to the students but to the learning support assistants as well. She explains and delivers the materials in an easy manner to be understood by everyone. She also provides 1 to 1 support to students who are struggling, checks their individual progress. Carmen has a calm, kind energy and has a fun and engaging attitude towards every student.’’

‘’Miss Carmen is a lovely lady and I have only beautiful words to say about her!In a very short time she engaged my daughter Kaya into the world of English language using different techniques fun and appropriate for her age. My daughter was very happy and excited knowing she will have English tutoring class with Carmen. After a few months I was shocked to see how accurate and grammar-error free my daughter could speak English. Thanks to Carmen my daughter managed to follow her dreams and was inspired by Carmen to learn languages and pursue her dream in becoming a flight attendant. Thank you Carmen! Greetings from Norway!

I had online English lessons with Carmen and still ongoing. My online experience had been not only very educational but also very enjoyable. I appreciate her patience and expertise especially her good-natured personality. When I make mistakes, she corrects me and uses authentic real life situations and many visual aids plus her delightful accent adds a charming touch to our sessions making learning process a pleasure. What I particularly enjoy is that starting from the second session we started speaking into English and the use of Romanian only comes into play when I encounter difficulties and I find this approach exceptionally beneficial to my language development. I was anxious on doing online sessions, but Carmen made it a positive and perfect experience.
